Welcome to Hut 55
Found nestled on the pebbles at Deal beach, Hut 55 is a takeaway cafe serving delicious homemade food & fresh coffee in a beautiful seaside setting. We love doorstop sandwiches, massive sausage rolls and wedges of cake, all served out of our seaview wooden hut.
Our food is packed in compostable packaging, so you can eat on our deckchairs and outdoor benches, or take away onto the beach.
In the winter season, our cosy nook is open for warm indoor seating.
OPENING HOURS:
Winter season: 7 days a week, 9am-3pm, weather dependent (please check social media before visiting if the weather is looking dodgy)
Christmas opening:
Xmas Eve: 9am-2pm
Xmas Day & Boxing Day: Closed
27th Dec-30th Dec: Open, 9am-3pm
31st Dec: 9am-2pm
1st & 2nd January: Closed
3rd January onwards, open 9am-3pm as usual
Our spot on the beach is beautiful, but it leaves us exposed to the elements - so if it’s heavy rain or wind, please check our social media before visiting as we will always post if we’ve had to close due to adverse weather.
BIKE HIRE & PICNICS:

We are located on the beach itself, off Marine Road in Walmer (opposite the paddling pool).
Parking is free (but limited) along Marine Road or paid parking is available in Deal Castle car park. We are a 10 minute walk from Deal town centre and the pier along the seafront.
